Samsung has not released a premium Chromebook in quite a while. Its last model, the Chromebook 2, came out in 2021. After nearly four years, Samsung may finally introduce a new Chromebook, according to a report by Chrome Unboxed. Samsung may launch its first “Chromebook Plus” device next week
The report suggests that the company is readying to launch a new Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Plus, that too, as early as next week. It would not only be the company’s first Galaxy-branded Chromebook in years but also their first “Plus” Chromebook model.
For those unaware, Google introduced a “Plus” branding for Chromebooks last year. To earn this label for their ChromeOS devices, manufacturers must meet specific criteria, including high-end processors, high-resolution webcams, and minimum system requirements.
