Spec and Features
The Chinese tech giant’s latest Redmi Pad Pro series are practically identical in terms of specs and features. However, the base model only supports Wi-Fi connectivity, while the 5G variant has mobile networking support (n1/3/5/8/28/40/78 bands). The Redmi Pad Pros sport a tall 12.1-inch LCD panel that offers 2.5K resolution, up to 120Hz variable refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, DC Dimming, Dolby Vision, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection, and up to 600 nits of peak brightness.

Under the hood, these are equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC with Adreno 710 GPU. The processor is coupled with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. Users can even expand the storage via a microSD card slot by up to 1TB. The 5G variant supports a Hybrid Dual SIM tray as well (nano + nano / microSD). So, the Redmi Pad Pro 5G is more versatile as you don’t require a separate device for internet connectivity on the go. Both models run on the Android 14 OS based HyperOS custom skin out of the box.
