The monitor has a ClearMR 9000 certification and a 1000 nits of peak brightness
The key differences between the two monitors lie in the refresh rate, display certification, and presence of RGB lighting. The AORUS FO32U features a 165Hz refresh rate, compared to the 240Hz of the FO32U2. It also carries the ClearMR 9000 certification instead of the higher-end ClearMR 13000, and lacks the RGB Fusion 2.0 lighting system found on its pricier sibling.
Despite these distinctions, the AORUS FO32U shares most of the impressive specs of the FO32U2. It boasts a sharp 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution (UHD), an incredibly fast 0.03ms (GTG) grey-to-grey response time, and a wide color gamut covering 99% of the DCI-P3 color space. Additionally, it delivers a typical brightness of 250 cd/m² and a peak brightness of 1000 nits, ensuring a vibrant and accurate visual experience.
In terms of connectivity, the AORUS FO32U offers a similar range of options as the FO32U2. This includes 2x HDMI 2.1 ports, 1x DisplayPort 1.4 port, and a versatile USB-C port featuring DP mode and 18W power delivery. Three USB 3.2-A ports provide additional connectivity for peripherals, while a 3.5mm headphone jack and microphone jack round out the selection. The monitor also boasts built-in 5W speakers and KVM functionality, allowing for easy switching between multiple devices connected to the monitor.Gigabyte Unveils New AORUS FO32U Gaming with 165Hz Refresh rate and 3840 x 2160 px
