Integration with contactless payments on boAt smartwatches will allow Mastercard cardholders to proceed with seamless transactions through their wearable device. Through Crest Pay, the official app of boAt, users can now tokenize their existing debit and credit cards from associated Mastercard banks in an effortless manner. It has contactless payment technology for Rs. 5,000 without a PIN, and the feature is great for everyday purchases. Initially, the contactless payment feature will be available to Mastercard cardholders from select leading banks in India. However, Mastercard and boAt have plans to expand the availability of this feature to additional banks over time.
