Sony WF-C510 details & pricing leaks ahead of alleged September launch

Sony‘s next TWS earbuds offering called the WF-C510 has leaked. The leak comes via renders and marketing material shared by tipster @MysteryLupin over at X (formerly Twitter). Design-wise, the WF-C510 is a carbon copy of its predecessor. It retains the familiar shape, command button, and charging case. While it lacks ANC, it boasts a slightly improved 22-hour battery life. Additional features include dual device pairing, ambient sound mode, and IPX4 water resistance.

Expected to launch in September 2024 for around $100, the WF-C510 will compete in the crowded budget TWS market. More details are expected to be revealed in the coming days.

Other than Sony, OnePlus and Nintendo have also recently garnered headlines in the world of TWS earbuds. As per reports, OnePlus is working on the OnePlus Buds 3 Pro, which is expected to debut with a €199 pricetag, alongside an 11mm woofer, 6mm tweeter, and Dynaudio-tuned sound. It is said to offer improved 50 dB noise cancellation and up to 43 hours of battery life.

On the other hand, Nintendo has released new Zelda-themed wireless earbuds in green and white variants, exclusive to the UK and Ireland, priced at £34.99. These join the existing black version.
