In the short video, the Pixel 9 Pro XL looks similar to what we saw in the leaked renders. It has a boxy design with a flat frame, significantly rounded corners, and a horizontal protruding camera island that does not stretch to the sides of the back panel. A closer look also confirms a periscope lens and there is of course a temperature sensor.
The Pixel 9 Pro XL looks slightly compact compared to the Pixel 8 Pro. This is because the latter has a slim profile compared to the boxy design on the upcoming offering. Another difference between the two devices is that the camera island on the Pixel 9 Pro XL has a matte finish compared to the glossy look on the Pixel 8 Pro.
