In the above-shown Weibo post, DCS claimed that Huawei is working on a tri-foldable smartphone equipped with the Kirin 9-series chipset. It will have a dual hinge and several new technologies. However, there is no clarity about the launch timeframe of the device.

Next, he appears to be hinting at the impending release of Oppo and Vivo’s next-generation foldable phones. These devices, which are likely to be called the Find N4 and Vivo X Fold 4 / Pro, will break cover in the first quarter of 2025. This suggests that the OnePlus Open 2 may also debut around the same time globally.

DCS revealed that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset will power these devices. He added that despite housing a battery of around 6,000mAh capacity, these devices will have a thin profile. Unfortunately, he did not share anything else about these devices.
