NTT Sorority nwm ONE open-ear wireless headphones with active noise leakage

NTT Sorority has unveiled the nwm ONE open-ear wireless headphones in Japan. The new NTT Sorority sound accessory comes with a dual driver setup and achieves active noise leakage suppression. The nwm ONE supports Sony 360 Reality Audio which provides immersive surround sound while the Personalized Sound Zone technology accomplishes active noise leakage suppression. The nwm ONE open-ear wireless headphones have a dual-driver setup using a 35mm driver in addition to a 12mm tweeter resulting in more effective noise suppression. The headphones have a frequency range of 40Hz to 20kHz.

The NTT Sorority nwm ONE uses the NTT voice technology, Magic Focus Voice. This beamforms with dual MEMS microphones, combined with spectral voice separation to achieve voice clarity in noisy environments. The headphones can be connected via Bluetooth 5.3 or using a USB-C cable. It can be paired with up to eight audio devices and two active multipoint connections. The nwm ONE headphones support the standard CVSD voice codec and the mSBC voice codec during calls. It also supports a variety of common and newer audio codecs for listening to music. The nwm ONE weighs 185g and its lithium battery offers up to 20 hours of playtime with a 1.5-hour full recharge. Five minutes of charge of the nwm ONE delivers up to one hour of runtime. The NTT Sorority nwm ONE is available in light gray and dark gray color variants for 39,600 yen ($250) in Japan. There are no details yet on the availability of the headphones in other markets.
