Industry insider Digital Chat Station (DCS) has shared new details about the upcoming Oppo Find Oppo Find X8 leak reveals display, camera, and OS upgradesX8. According to the tipster, the device will feature a 6.5-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is said to be a flat panel, a shift from the curved displays of its predecessor.
A key highlight of the Find X8 is said to be its battery, which will use silicon battery technology for a larger capacity. While DCS didn’t specify the exact size, it is expected to range between 5100mAh and 5500mAh.

The phone is also rumored to include a triple camera system with a 3X periscope telephoto lens and Hasselblad tuning. The main camera is likely to be a 50MP Sony sensor with a large 1/1.4″ size. On the software side, the Find X8 is expected to come with ColorOS 15, which DCS says will offer significant improvements in terms of user experience.
Additionally, previous reports suggest that the phone will be powered by MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9400 processor. While they are largely performance-focused cores, the SoC is still rumored to offer a 34% reduction in power consumption while maintaining the same speed and complexity, and an 18% increase in performance at the same power.
We previously reported that the Oppo Find X8 series could come with a total of three models, one more than the Find X7 series. The Find X8 and X8 Pro are expected to launch sometime in October, while the top-of-the-line Find X8 Ultra will launch separately in Q1 2025.
